What led you to your chosen field?
“When deciding the direction of my future, massage provided a path to helping people whilst acquiring a wealth of anatomical knowledge. I am excited to be able to provide awareness and relief to my clients so that they can move through the world with less pain.”

Garth
Garth has been licensed in massage therapy for 9 years. He is also Reiki Master and enjoys providing deep tissue massage to clients.
What led you to your chosen field?
“I felt drawn to being a healer. As a friendly easy going guy, I always liked working with people, but most of all helping people. Before massage I studied literature, writing, psychology, philosophy and history. I worked different kinds of jobs, from restaurants to computers, but there's something special to be said for a job where people are happy to see you and happier when they leave. I like being able to meet different people and hold a safe space for them. Then also being able to combine the more medical and focused deep tissue work with the more subtle energetic spiritual side of things.”

Sophia
Sophia has been a licensed Esthetician for one year.
What led you to your chosen field?
I have always loved skincare and the spa environment. When I was younger, I would make little face masks at home with different ingredients that were lying around the house and use them on family members. I love learning how certain herbs, plants, and chemicals react on the skin, and I love specializing a service to meet the client's needs! Plus, I love to help people relax and feel good.

Nicole
Nicole has been a licensed Esthetician for six years.
What led you to your chosen field?
“After years of struggling with my own skin I turned to facials to help heal my skin and I never looked back. For me skincare goes beyond the skin. As an esthetician it is my goal to create a space that is both relaxing and results driven. Helping to improve skin concerns so that my clients can radiate from the inside out.”

Krista
Krista has been a licensed Massage Therapist for seven years. Krista has additional training in Medical Massage, Myofascial Cupping, Headache and Trigger Point Therapy along with experience working with seniors and people with physical disabilities.
What led you to your chosen field?
“There has been a combination of things that helped lead me to massage therapy as a career such as working in healthcare facilities that encouraged a holistic approach towards the goal of reducing medications & behaviors (more medication=more side effects=increased negative behaviors). Massage Therapy (they had an LMT on staff) and aromatherapy were commonly used and I was in awe of how transformative it was for many patients. Then, a shoulder injury led me to receiving physical therapy treatment. I was fascinated with my PT doctor's knowledge and passion for the body and how they "just knew" which muscles needed to be rehabilitated based on my presenting symptoms. It was like magic to me.
Completing physical therapy then led me down a road of weight-training and nutrition. I was obsessed with bodybuilding and muscle anatomy and the use of proper form and body mechanics. While deeply exploring whether I should pursue a career as a Certified Personal Trainer, I circled back to the versatility of Massage Therapy and how helpful it was for "Every Body" and everybody.”

What led you to your chosen field?
“I have always been called to being a healer as well as having a rapt fascination with the anatomy and physiology of the human body and how it functions from an early age. Massage Therapy was a natural path to combining those interests and I am lucky I found and pursued my passions at such a young age. It has been an amazing experience being able to grow with my clients these last two decades. I am grateful to every client who gets on my table for trusting me with their body and allowing me to encourage and direct THEIR own bodies' natural healing responses through my hands on touch.”

Tasha
Tasha has been licensed in Massage Therapy for 17 years. Additional Trainings and Certifications include: My education after initially attending school will be and endless journey of geeking out over the human body and what it's capable of. So far it has been focused on deep tissue techniques that don't necessarily require deep pressure, the neck, cupping, thai massage, craniosacral workshops(not practicing at this time), and self care.
What led you to your chosen field?
“Mine started when I was young, always rubbing shoulders and trying to help everyone relax. During that time I had no idea massage was a genuine career choice, I just liked helping people feel good. My grandma is the one who encouraged me the most and told me that I should attend Finger Lakes School of Massage. She is the one, I think, who was my first real client. When I was around after her chemo treatments I would rub her head and her feet. I didn't realize at the time how much relief I was able to offer in the smallest of gestures. Looking back it was my first real taste of healing touch for someone that wasn't myself.”
